Upper and low aspects of the small mollusc (similar to the Saddle Oyster - Anomia ephippium but much smaller). Widely recorded in UK and Irish waters. Sample shown from Scapa Flow (Orkney).
Found on rocks and flat algae fronds (Laminaria sp.)
