Nassarius (Hima) adami n. sp. is described from material collected on the coast of Angola. The new species is compared to N. (Hima) incrassatus (Strom, 1768). It does not closely resemble any other known species of Nassariidae but is clearly related to species currently placed in the subgenus Hima (Leach in Gray, 1852).
