Limapontia depressa. L. 4.5mm. At Littleton, Severn Estuary, August 2011, form with dense white spots and light grey eye-patches predominated. Top left specimen’s translucent body shows unusual yellowish-white, lobed branch of digestive gland.

Limapontia depressa. L. 5 mm. Head widest at anterior edge which meets sides at approximately a right angle. Foot wider than rear of head and anterior of body, elsewhere concealed in dorsal view. Dee Estuary, Cheshire. July 2011.

Limapontia depressa. Specimen from Menai Strait and illustration by A. Hancock (in Eliot). Outline broad oblong-ovate. Both clearly show a rib above, in front of and below the eye patch, with a connecting branch across the front of the head forming a U.
