Book auction closed but sale still open

The recent book auction has now closed but the sale list is still open (list of results). Nearly half of the books were sold for a total of £115 raising £54.20 for Society funds.

The unsold books are available for purchase through the book sale list and can be bought at any time. Postage and packing costs are not included in the price; postage will be charged at cost, and packing at a flat £1 per package.  We try to describe books accurately; books can be returned within seven days of receipt if not as described. Prices of unsold books will generally be reduced gradually until sold - so if you are unwilling to buy a book at its present price, it's always worth checking later to see whether the price has come down to what you are willing to pay.  Non-members may buy books from the book sale list, but do not benefit from the members' discount.

If you have suitable books that you no longer need and would like us to sell for you, please contact Bas Payne at bas.payne@gmail.com or 01647 24515.  The Society charges a commission of 10% for books that sell for £100 or more; and 20% for books that sell for less.

Any member who wants to receive a catalogue on paper should write to Bas Payne, The Mill House, Clifford Bridge, Drewsteignton, Exeter EX6 6QE or phone him on 01647 24515.
