Doto coronata. Body length 12mm. Dark crimson on head, body and subepidermally on lower half of mesial face of cerata. Anal papilla between fist & second ceras on right. 6 pairs of cerata (fifth on right missing). February 2013. Menai Strait. Wales.

Doto coronata. Body length 12mm. Genital papilla below first ceras. White upper surface of foot protudes all around body. 5 circles of tubercles on some cerata (maximum often 4). February 2013. Menai Strait. Wales.

Goniodoris nodosa. Length 11mm. Wide, blunt, flattened oral tentacles. Translucent white sole with central area showing pink viscera; anterior rounded with no propodial extension. February 2013. Menai Strait.

Eubranchus farrani. Length 10mm. Anterior of foot rather truncated, no propodial extension or tentacles. Sole translucent white. February 2013. LWS, Menai Strait, Wales.

Eubranchus farrani. Length 10mm. Yellow oral tentacles spaced widely apart on top of lip. Yellow and orange rhinophores lack lamellae, but longitudinally wrinkled. February 2013. LWS, Menai Strait, Wales.

Eubranchus farrani. Length 10mm. Small internal black eyes faintly visible through translucent body, set back from rhinophores. Many cerata lack usual inflation; possibly regenerating after damage. Yellow pigment. February 2013. LWS, Menai Strait, Wales.

Eubranchus farrani. Length 10mm. Orange pigment on rhinophores distally. Distal yellow on cerata. Body pigment restricted to tip of tail on this specimen. Cerata on anterior half lack usual inflation. February 2013. LWS, Menai Strait, Wales.

A new facility has been enabled on the Conchological Society's website which will send periodic email alerts to users registered on the site. There are two categories of notification:

Flabellina verrucosa spawning. Short cerata form resembling original description and illustration by Sars. Apparently only found in Scandinavia & N. Britain. April 2006. Flekkefjord, Norway.
