Common
Occurs from the Mediterranean to Norway
Ecology and behaviour
Occurs on hard substrates associated with ascidians on which it feeds.
Key identification features
- Harp-shaped shell with the last whorl making up about 80% of the shell height
- 15-18 ridge like teeth on the inner edge of the lip

Solid harp-shaped shell up to about 12mm high and 8mm across. The last whorl makes up the the majority of the shell. It is generally white in colour often with pink along the lip.
