Solid harp-shaped shell up to about 12mm high and 8mm across. The last whorl makes up the the majority of the shell. It is generally white in colour often with pink along the lip. There are 15-18 teeth along the inner edge of the aperture. Surface of the shell is smooth marked only with fine irregular growth lines.

Occurs on hard substrates associated with ascidians on which it feeds.
