He preferred them to stay on the beach

The Revd. Bert Biggs was a former president of this Society who found time for a lifelong interest in shells despite a very active life.

By the time Members (hopefully) read this editorial, the Society would have held a major review meeting to discuss the future of the Society. All of Council is meeting in London on 11th November.
