Alder & Hancock described Cuthona nana as 2 species; Eolis peachii (this illus.) and E. nana. They recorded difficulty drawing a restless E. nana specimen, so their E. peachi illus. is more reliable. Note large mouth.

Facelina auriculata. Length 15mm. Purplish pink iridescence on cerata. Faint sandy coloured rhinophores. Oral tentacles with white pigment on distal half; twice as long as rhinophores. LWS. Menai Strait, Wales. February 2011.
