Lamellaria latens rarely, if ever, has a steeper profile than in this image. Yellow markings near the mantle edge, as on this specimen, frequently occur on L. Latens. Length 10mm. In Laminaria holdfast, LWS, Menai Strait, Wales. Feb.2011.

Lamellaria latens. Only a few small tubercles on mantle. Markings of grey discs and fine sepia spots resemble ascidian prey's exhalent openings and small inhalent pores. Length 10mm. In Laminaria holdfast, Menai Strait, Wales.
