Ancient woodland, calcareous grassland and quarries of the fossil rich Silurian limestone ridge.

We will visit the National Trust managed areas which have a diverse flora and fauna but are not well recorded for molluscs.  Wenlock Edge is near to the lovely town of Much Wenlock with a 12th century Priory, cafes and craft shops if you need a change from the natural delights of this famous geological area.
