In order to celebrate the 125th AGM of the Malacological Society of London,
the Society and the Natural History Museum are cohosting a special
day long symposium, "New perspectives on evolution in molluscs: from fossils
to next generation sequencing".

Talks from world renowned experts will cover aspects of life history and
evolution in the phylum Mollusca ranging from pharmacology, palaeontology
and chemosymbiosysis to larval development and shell structure. Although
focused on molluscs, these talks will be of interest to evolutionary
biologists, biogeographers, marine biologists and palaeontologists.

The meeting is free but advance registration is necessary. Please register by
