Saturday 12th August 2017: FIELD MEETING (non-marine): Oswestry Uplands, Shropshire

We will visit two SSSIs on Carboniferous Limestone, one of which has an old record for Vertigo lilljeborgi. These are botanically rich alkaline fens, with sensitive tufa formations, so numbers have to be limited.

Meet at 10.30am at Sweeney Fen SSSI, Shropshire Wildlife Trust reserve SJ2742224969, where there is a very small amount of parking.  so please contact Mags in advance if you are intending to come.
