Good mixed coast with high diversity and large tidal range; low spring tides (+0.4m) late afternoon 17-18 October.
(2 October) Jan writes:
"I envisage that there will be relatively local fieldwork every day. It will be helpful not to have to commit ourselves to specific trips on specific days as we can make best use of tide, and wind shelter if we leave things open. I also hope get a local fisherman to show us peche a pied, probably for razor clams. I do not at present know what day he can do this as it is weather-dependent."
