Details are given of the distribution of 143 species of marine molluscs found during a qualitative benthic survey of the central and northern Celtic Sea. Several records are of zoogeographical interest, generally of northern species at the southern limits of their distributions. A number of rare species was found and the genus Eleutheromenia (Mollusca, Solenogastres, Pararrhopaliidae) is added to the British fauna.
