A new columbellid species, Anachis donnae n.sp., is described from Masirah Island, Sultanate of Oman. It differs from other Indian Ocean species in several ways, especially its distinctive colour pattern. It is compared with type material of Columbella elata Reeve, 1859, a taxon resembling it superficially.
