Nassarius emilyae n.sp. is described from areas of Masirah and Dhofar (Oman). N. emilyae somaliensis n. ssp. is described from Somalia. The occurrence of both taxa in the north-western Indian Ocean is probably due to the influence of the cold water upwelling. Bullia smytheae n.sp. is described from Masirah Island.
