Following the inclusion of uncertain taxa in the recently published "Seashells of Eastern Arabia" this paper partly resolves the situation by describing eight new species, one new subspecies and one new genus from the northern Arabian Sea and Arabian Gulf. The new species include additions to the following genera; Loripes (Lucinoidea), Sagamikellia (uncertain galeommatid) Carditopsis and Carditellopsis (Carditoidea), Lyrocardium and Trachycardium (Cardioidea), Moerella (Tellinoidea) and Cryptomya (Myoidea). The new subspecies is of Trachycardium impolitum and the new genus Aenictomya is placed in the Galeommatoidea.
