The genus name Simplicifusus is treated as a subjective junior synonym of the genus name Granulifusus. The species previously assigned to Simplicifusus are enumerated and discussed. The species assigned to Granulifusus are enumerated and two new species are described in this genus, Granulifusus vermeiji and Granulifusus dondani, both collected in the Philippine Islands.
