Ecology and behaviour
Sublittoral to 120m. Feeds on Tubularia indivisa (EML),Eudendrium arbuscula (EML) and other Eudendrium spp. Simultaneous hermaphrodite. Spawn a thin undulating coil, often tangled round hydroid . Veliger larvae drift in the water column before settling on the sea floor and transforming into the adult form.
