The list of unsold books has now been posted on this website. They are priced at a substantial reduction on the auction estimate, with a further reduction for members of the Conchological Society and the British Shell Collectors Club. Please send orders by e-mail to bas.payne@gmail.com, or by post to The Mill House, Clifford Bridge, Drewsteignton, Exeter EX6 6QE, saying whether you are a member of either society, and whether you want the books to be brought to a CS meeting, or posted to you. Postage will be charged at cost, with a charge of £1 for packing.
In the interests of evenhandedness, and to temper any initial rush, orders will be held until 5 May and, if more than one offer for the same book has been received by then, the result will be decided by giving preference to members of the two clubs, and by tossing a coin if necessary; thereafter books will be sold on a "first come first served" basis.
